Details: Here's a great poster with some 42 soldier knives (and a few holders) mostly from roughly 1850 to 1950 or so. Among the American knives are a 12.6 inch Confederate fighting knife, a World War I knuckle knife, a 1917 knucklebow machete, a Carlson's raiders machete, a KA-BAR MK2 fighting utility knife, and an MK 3 trench knife. There are a number of German knives from the late 19th century, WWI, the Imperial dagger, and 9 from the WWII era. Also some British Bowie knives, British Raj hunting knives, and a smattering from Spain, Italy and a Soviet fighting knife from 1940.
